The Flierefluiter is a typical wooden holiday home in a very quiet area directly behind the dunes in a very quiet area of Renesse. To the beach it is a five minute walk and in ten minutes you walk to the center of Renesse.
As soon as you enter the lush garden you notice straught away that the atmosphere is different than in most holiday homes. Eclectic and homely where you feel at ease immediately, with colorful art on the walls, a cozy dining area where you can dine extensively in comfortable Mexican chairs and afterwards relax in the two spacious lounge sofas.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the two bedrooms are nicely furnished, the master bedroom with good and large double bed and a scaffolding wall around the washbasin, the smaller room with a robust bunk bed where 2 adults can sleep. The bathroom is practically furnished with a walk-in shower and on summer days you can also use the outside bathroom with walk-in shower.
As soon as the temperature permits it must be possible to do everything outside and that is why we have built a large lounge area on the covered terrace where you can enjoy the sun out of the wind. This lounge sofa is built in a way that you can eat or relax and enjoy the outdoors even during a 'tropical rain shower' without getting wet.
And when the summer is really getting hot, in the spacious garden you have the opportunity to catch your breath and take time for each other around the robust natural dining area during a barbecue. Of course you can also relax on one of the loungers, where you can enjoy in peace the whistling of the many birds or the murmur of the sea.
When it is getting dark, you can also fully enjoy the lush garden that surrounds the house. There is created atmospheric lighting so that you do not look into a black hole but can enjoy the illuminated variety of vegetation and especially see the bamboo wave in the wind.

Renesse is a lively seaside town where you can enjoy a wonderful holiday!
Pay a visit to the “Schouwse” beaches, accessible throughout the year and a worthwhile visit even during the winter months. The beaches are wideset and filled with numerous beachside restaurants.
Nice shops and restaurants, free bus rides to the beach (during summerseason, leaving from the “Transferium”) and an exciting nightlife are just a few of the characteristics that make “Renesse” an attractive holiday destination.
Renesse is centrally located along the stretched North Sea Beach that forms the coastline of “Schouwen-Duiveland”.The wide and clean beaches are divided into different types; family, natural, sport- & water sports, nudist zones, and extreme sport beaches. For all these different types are specific rules to ensure visitors can relax in safety. The rules are conveniently located on signs at each of the beach transitions.
The enormous wideset beaches of “Schouwen-Duiveland” are well-known in Holland and abroad. Premium quality beaches are recognizable by the waving “Blue Flag” and are located on not just one, but three locations on the island! The “Blue Flag” is an international prize that is annually awarded to clean and safe beaches. Current award holders are the beach transitions at “Jan v. Renesseweg”, “Julianahoeve” and the “Burgh-Haamstede transition” in “Westenschouwen”.
Divided among the entire length of 21 kilometers of beach you will find no less than 14 beach pavilions, of which some are also open in the winterseason, most of them at least on the weekends.
During the season, at the most crowded transitions in “Burgh-Haamstede” and “Renesse”, there is a fully operational beach lifeguard post, staffed entirely by volunteers from all over the country. These are the people who like to combine the pleasant with the needed during their holiday.
There are several bike- and walking trails across the island of “Schouwen-Duiveland”. Route maps are available at tourist offices.
