Quietly located, large garden and with lots of privacy stands this freestanding holiday villa on the edge of the nature reserve “de Kop van Schouwen” also known as the “Zeepeduinen”.
This holiday home is located approximately 1km from the North Sea beach, accessible via the "Zeepeduinen" which is filled with hiking and biking trails.
The picturesque village “Burgh-Haamstede” is within walking distance, and has a beautifully restored medieval castle “Slot Haamstede” along with a big old church.
In the village center you will find a large variety of restaurants, terraces and cozy shops that are worth visiting. Just outside the center stands a white mill “de Graanhalm” in which a pancake restaurant is located. The miller still makes use of the mill, he grinds the flour used in the restaurant’s pancakes. The mill is also a sightseeing attraction.
The holiday villa has a large living room with fireplace, open kitchen and utility room. Downstairs is the master bedroom with bathroom that has been completely renovated in 2016. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet and sink. In the secluded garden you’ll find 2 terraces and a log cabin. There is private a parking space at the front of the villa.
We do not rent our accommodation to groups (youths below 25 years, groups of women / men regardless of age).
Burgh and Haamstede are better known as Burgh-Haamstede. Burgh and Haamstede are hardly distinguishable from each other and together form a wonderful place for longer stay. Beach, cafes, shops, everything is nearby for young and old an enjoyable holiday.

At the beach in Westenschouwen there is a "Blue Flag" and also a post of the beach lifeguard.
The "Blue Flag" is an annual international award which is awarded to beaches that are clean and safe.
The many bike paths and country roads offer a varied view that is uncommon in the Netherlands. The coastal routes through the dunes, the quiet country roads through the countryside, the characteristic peaceful villages and the many extensive bike paths offer a particularly safe and ideal environment to be alone, or with the whole family to enjoy and really unwind. Zealand's largest forest can be found on the coast of Schouwen-Duiveland. It is part of the natural monument the "Kop van Schouwen" and is one of the most beautiful areas of Forestry Commission.
