This single storied house has been rebuilt completely at the end of 2016 and has all the luxuries and comforts. It stands on a spacious plot of 800 m2, near the dunes of Renesse, surrounded by lots of old trees. Curious deer sometimes come to visit the garden. Here you have privacy and you will relax completely. The property is less than a 10 minutes’ walk from the dunes and the wide sandy beach, has a comfortable Scandinavian design, characterized by clean lines, functionality and natural light shades and materials.
The living room is comfortable and spacious. There is, among other things, a luxury kitchen with a dishwasher and an induction cooker, Nespresso coffee for lovers, a modern bathroom with rain shower, heated floors in livingroom and kitchen and unlimited use of Wi-Fi and international TV channels. There are several French doors, so once the sun shines a bit, outside and indoors easily form a whole. There are two spacious master bedrooms, equipped with very comfortable box-spring beds and a private washbasin in each room. In addition there is a smaller, very cosy room, both with sturdy bunk bed.
For most of the sunshine and the rich variety of nature to enjoy, there are two outdoor terraces, one with a canopy. With the outdoor fireplace burning and a glass of wine within reach you can delightfully enjoy each other and the peace around you at this holiday spot until late at night. The driveway offers on-site parking for several cars and possibly all your water sports equipment and other supplies, which is comfortable as well.
The free beach of Renesse on the North Sea so close, as well as the beautiful surroundings of the island of Schouwen-Duivenland, such as the Oosterschelde National Park and the Grevelingen lake, offer unlimited recreational opportunities. Pay a visit to the “Schouwse” beaches, accessible throughout the year and a worthwhile visit even during the winter months. The beaches are wide and filled with numerous terraces.
Nice shops and restaurants, free bus rides to the beach (during season, leaving from the “Transferium”) and an exciting nightlife are just a few of the characteristics that make “Renesse” an attractive holiday destination.
Renesse is centrally located along the stretched North Sea Beach that forms the coastline of “Schouwen-Duiveland”. Wide and clean beaches that are divided into different types like; family, natural, sport- & water sports, nudist zones and extreme sport beaches. For all these different types are specific rules to ensure visitors can relax in safety. The rules are conveniently located on signs at each of the beach transitions.
The enormous size beaches of “Schouwen-Duiveland” are well-known in Holland and abroad. Premium quality beaches are recognizable by the waving “Blue Flag” and are located on not just one but three locations on the island! The “Blue Flag” is an international prize that is annually awarded to those beaches that are both clean and safe. Current award holders are the beach transitions at “Jan v. Renesseweg”, “Julianahoeve” and the “Burgh-Haamstede transition” in “Westenschouwen”.
Divided among the entire length of 21 kilometers of beach you will find no less than 14 beach pavilions, of which some are also open in the winter or at least on weekends.
During the season, at the most crowded transitions in “Burgh-Haamstede” and “Renesse”, there is a fully operational post of the beach lifeguards staffed entirely by volunteers from around the country that like to combine the pleasant with the needed during their holiday.
